Desk 04 · Interviews
On the record, in their words.
The Conversations desk sits people down: vice-chancellors and provider CEOs, academic board chairs, quality and compliance leaders, researchers and student advocates. Interviews are conducted on the record, edited only for clarity, and approved quotes stay in the speaker’s own words.

The format
How an AHEG Media interview works
- On the record. Ground rules are agreed before recording; anything off the record stays out of the piece entirely.
- Edited for clarity only. We trim, we never rewrite - published quotes are the speaker’s words.
- Context, not gotchas. Questions are shared in theme beforehand; follow-ups are fair game.
- The full record. Where a conversation is also recorded for the podcast desk, the audio is the transcript.
Launch note. This desk is live and its first conversations are in preparation. Nothing on this page is placeholder journalism: until publication day we list only our coverage scope and the evergreen framework explainers, so that everything you read here is verifiable today.
