AHEG Media is the publication arm of the Australian Higher Education Group and part of the CAQA Groups family, a Career Calling International initiative. We exist to keep an accurate public record of Australian higher education: what the regulator decides, what the standards require, and what the sector is doing about both.
The rules we publish under
- Accuracy first. News is reported factually and checked against the primary source. Framework facts carry their standard number and the instrument’s exact title.
- Labelling. Analysis is labelled Analysis; opinion is labelled Opinion and signed. Neither is mixed into the news record.
- Corrections. Errors are corrected promptly and visibly, under our False Information & Defamation Policy.
- Independence of the record. The AHEG family advises providers; AHEG Media reports on the sector. Where those worlds touch, we disclose it - and our advisory disclaimer applies to everything we publish.
- No manufactured authority. We do not invent statistics, quotes or awards. If a number is on this site, it has a source.
